– Not Worriers!

A Day of Positivity and Progress at the Warriors Shop

Today was a day filled with positive energy at the Warriors Shop! From the moment we opened our doors, excitement buzzed through the air. One of our dedicated members arrived early, brimming with joy and eager to share some fantastic news. After a conversation with local businessman Paul, there was a promising opportunity for him to join Paul’s ever-growing team. The anticipation and happiness were palpable, and we couldn’t help but give him the biggest hug ever.

Even before the shop officially opened, smiles were everywhere. Our friend was anxiously waiting for a call from Paul to discuss the opportunity further. As the day progressed, Paul decided to visit the shop to talk in person. The smiles on their faces were a clear sign that things were looking up, although our friend will need to pass a few tests over the next few days and weeks.

A huge shoutout to We Are Warriors! Our Facebook page and website, www.wearewarriors.es, created by the amazing Danny Bjorn, continue to play a crucial role in connecting and supporting our community.

Later in the day, the lovely Martha Norville arrived to meet Paul and also to give me a relaxing Reiki session. The warmth and energy were incredible, and I even fell asleep during the session! Martha has generously donated her time to provide this treatment to our volunteers. If you’re interested in Martha’s amazing services, you can message us or find her on Facebook at Healing Hands.

Adding to the day’s positivity, our super-fast internet provider dropped by to check on the work done by Netcom Red, ensuring we have high-speed internet for free, thanks to owner Bjørn Hjorth.

What else? We received numerous donations from as far away as Australia, thanks to Linzi Beresford and Nina Blaafjell. Their monetary contributions are especially appreciated during this quiet month. If you can, please pop in and support us so we can continue helping others. We may not be able to change the whole world, but making a difference in one person’s life makes everything worthwhile.

We are also incredibly proud of Tim Sorensen, who has been alcohol-free for five weeks and is loving life.

On a less positive note, we had some drama with a former associate who disconnected our internet and provided free radio adverts. Despite their claims that we tried to damage their business, we are grateful for the initial support. However, their continued rants and wild accusations are laughable. We have blocked them everywhere we can, but they still pursue us with unfounded claims. Nevertheless, we remain focused on our mission.

All in all, it was a productive day with incredible support from amazing people and our dedicated volunteers. Every day, they give their time to ensure we can keep being warriors, helping others.

What will tomorrow bring? Stay tuned!
